Another Republican to challenge Inglis

Yet another Republican has announced he will challenge Congressman Bob Inglis (R-S.C.) next year. Jim Lee, an Air Force veteran, will announce his candidacy on Thursday.

Lee is the third Republican to jump into the primary. Christina Jeffrey, a college professor, and businessman Andrew Smart are already in the race.

On his campaign website, Lee, who was expected to run, touts his conservative credentials. He says he “unashamedly” opposes abortion rights and is a “born-again Christian conservative.”
