First U.S. swine flu deaths?

Two deaths in Los Angeles are currently being investigated and may be the first known deaths from the virus.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the city’s coroner is looking into two deaths that officials say could be related to the outbreak. The Times notes, however, that tests have not yet come back positive.

So far, no one in the U.S. has died from the virus.
