President Trump on Thursday mourned the death of a Utah man killed in Wednesday’s attack in London.

“A great American, Kurt Cochran, was killed in the London terror attack,” Trump tweeted.

“My prayers and condolences are with his family and friends.”

Cochran was killed and his wife was injured in the London attack. The Cochrans were reportedly in London celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.

The assailant drove a car into a group of people on Westminster Bridge in London and then crashed the car outside parliament. The attacker then stabbed a police officer before being shot by armed police.

On Thursday, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) claimed through its Aamaq news agency that the assailant who carried out the “attack in front of the British parliament in London was a soldier of the Islamic State.”

Trump on Wednesday said he had spoken with British Prime Minister Theresa May to express his condolences following the attack.
