Priebus crafts checklist for rollout of new initiatives: report

White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus has crafted a checklist for the rollout of future initiatives, The New York Times reported.

The 10-point list requires the White House communications department and the staff secretary to sign off on orders.

The move comes amid reports that details of Trump’s executive orders were not shared with government agencies prior to their signing.

{mosads}The newspaper also notes that Trump was not briefed on details of the executive order he signed last month that reshuffled the National Security Council (NSC). The order added White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon to the NSC’s “principals committee,” sparking outrage on both sides of the political aisle.

The rollout of Trump’s executive order imposing a temporary ban on nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries entering the United States was also criticized. Protests erupted at airports across the country after the signing, as officials seeking to adhere to the new law detained people who had obtained valid visas to the United States.
