David Duke: We did it
David Duke, a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan, took credit for President Donald Trump’s victory moments after his Inauguration.
“We did it! Congratulation to Donald J. Trump President of the United States of America!” Duke tweeted.
Trump ran into trouble on the campaign trail when he said he didn’t know who Duke was before eventually disavowing support from the white nationalist.
Duke is a former congressman from Louisiana, who ran for president twice, first as a Democrat, then as a Republican.
