Gingrich: I don’t want to be Trump’s secretary of State
Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) reportedly said he does not want to be President-elect Donald Trump’s secretary of State, despite reports that he is being considered for a Cabinet position.

Gingrich said he would prefer to work in Trump’s White House doing strategic planning.
The former Speaker was an outspoken surrogate for Trump throughout the general election and is reportedly being considered for a Cabinet position.
