Conservative pollster Frank Luntz: Don’t call me a Republican anymore
Conservative pollster Frank Luntz expressed disgust with the state of the Republican Party on Tuesday, saying he no longer considers himself part of the GOP.
“Starting tonight on this show no one will call me a Republican again, because I am not part of this,” Luntz told anchor Katie Couric of Yahoo News. “I’m not part of that system, I’m not part of that negativity. This is not something I was involved in this year. I will leave it to others to explain and to try to get themselves out of this mess.”

Several members of Trump’s inner circle — including campaign manager Kellyanne Conway — appeared poised to blame the high-profile Republicans who refused to back Trump if he loses the White House.
Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer also predicted that a “civil war” within the Republican Party would begin Wednesday, irrespective of who wins the White House.
