Celebs take pics around the ballot box

Instagram

Celebrities are shining their star power on the ballot box, taking to Instagram and Twitter to show off photos of their participation in democracy on Election Day.

Taylor Swift has remained mum on the polarized 2016 White House race, but she was less shy about casting her vote on Tuesday:

Today is the day. Go out and VOTE

But a slew of other famous faces who have been more vocal this campaign season about their support for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton took to social media to post voting selfies:

WAKE UP MONSTER 18+ go out and #vote #mygirl #imwithher #my #vote #govote

Actress Melissa Joan Hart, Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson’s Connecticut campaign chairwoman, lamented a shortage of “I voted” stickers at her polling spot:

I brought my kids down to #vote but they ran outta stickers. Sorry no #Voteselfie. #johnsonweld2016

Plenty of stars chose to keep their choice private, making no mention of which White House contender got their vote.

If I can my ass up this early and vote. You can too. Let's go family!!!
