Clinton leads Trump among Latino voters by 62 points

Hillary Clinton dominates GOP nominee Donald Trump among Hispanic voters, according to a new tracking poll released Sunday.

{mosads}The Latino Decisions weekly tracking poll gives Clinton 76 percent support among Hispanic voters, compared to 14 percent for Trump.

The final installment of the weekly tracking poll found 76 percent of Hispanic votes with an unfavorable view of Trump, while 17 percent view him favorably.

Clinton, the Democratic nominee, is viewed favorably by 70 percent of Hispanic voters and unfavorably by 25 percent.

According to the poll, Hispanic voters’ apprehension of Trump could come from his vow to remove up to 6 million undocumented immigrants from the U.S.

Seventy-three percent said his plan makes them less likely to vote for the GOP nominee, while only 16 percent said it makes them more likely to vote for him.

Meanwhile, Clinton’s call for a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants makes 72 percent of Hispanic voters more likely to vote for her, while 17 percent are less likely to vote for her.

Latino Decisions interviewed 250 Latino registered voters Oct. 31-Nov. 5 as part of an eight-week tracking poll. The poll has a margin of error of 4.4 percent.
