The Hillary Clinton campaign feels it has a strong chance to win Michigan and Minnesota on Tuesday, despite Donald Trump’s recent efforts in those states.
{mosads}”With respect to Michigan … if we hold on to Nevada, that looks strong in the early vote. Michigan, for the most part, votes on Election Day. We think we have this race over,” Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”
“We’re going to get our over 270 electoral votes.”
Podesta added that Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, and her surrogates are “going where the votes are.”
“We’re going to finish strong. We feel good about Michigan and the rest of the states.”
Podesta also criticized the Republican presidential nominee’s decision to cancel a rally in Wisconsin in favor of campaigning in Minnesota.
“We feel good about Minnesota,” Podesta said.
