Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in a four-way matchup by 4 points in the final NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released several days before the presidential election.

{mosads}Clinton has 44 percent support, compared to Trump’s 40 percent in the national poll released Sunday morning. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has 6 percent, and the Green Party’s Jill Stein has 2 percent.

Clinton, the Democratic nominee, has a 5-point lead over Trump, the Republican nominee, in a two-way race, 48 to 43 percent.

Clinton had an 11-point lead over Trump in the same poll conducted in mid-October.

Pollsters found Trump gaining support from voters within his own party, which has brought him on par with Clinton’s support among Democrats.

In a four-way matchup, 82 percent of likely Republican voters support Trump while 82 percent of likely Democratic voters back Clinton.

Clinton had a narrow, 2-point edge among independent voters.

Trump still struggles among college-educated, white voters, a bloc that 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney won by 14 percentage points.

Clinton leads among white voters with a four-year college degree by 7 points, 47 to 40 percent in a two-way matchup.

Among white women with a college degree, Clinton leads Trump by 18 percentage points.

However, Trump continues to lead Clinton among white voters without college degrees, 57 to 25 percent.

The poll, conducted Nov. 3–5, has a margin of error of 2.7 points.

Clinton leads Trump by 1.4 percentage points, according to the RealClearPolitics average of national polls.
