Khizr Khan to campaign with Clinton
Khizr Khan, the Muslim father of a U.S. Army captain killed in Iraq in 2004, will campaign with Hillary Clinton on Sunday night, a campaign aide told The Hill.
Khan will appear with Clinton during a rally in Manchester, N.H., his first appearance alongside the former secretary of State on the campaign trail.
{mosads}The Gold Star father was thrown into the national spotlight after he gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention in July, denouncing Donald Trump.
During the speech he pulled a pocket-sized copy of the Constitution from his pocket and offered to let Trump borrow it.
Since then, Khan has appeared in a Clinton campaign ad and has blasted Trump in media interviews. He campaigned for Democrats in Virginia on Friday.
Singer James Taylor is also scheduled to perform at the Sunday night rally.
