Virginia poll: Clinton leads Trump by 6

Hillary Clinton has a 6-point lead over Donald Trump in the swing state of Virginia just a week before Election Day, a new poll released Tuesday shows. 

{mosads}Clinton has 48 percent support to Trump’s 42 percent, the Washington Post/Schar School poll found. 

Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, led by 7 points in the August edition of the same poll. 

Majorities of voters in Virginia still have unfavorable impressions of both candidates, the survey found.

Sixty percent of likely voters view Trump, the Republican nominee, unfavorably, while 57 percent have that view of Clinton. 

Nearly three-quarters of voters say Clinton is too willing to “bend the rules,” while 60 percent say Trump is biased against women and minorities. 

The poll was conducted Oct. 27–30 among a sample of 1,300 people. The margin of error was 3.5 points.

Clinton leads Trump by 5 points in Virginia, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average.
