Poll: Clinton, McGinty up big in Pennsylvania

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Democratic Senate candidate Katie McGinty have double-digit leads in their races in Pennsylvania, according to a new poll released Tuesday morning.

{mosads}Clinton has 49 percent support to Republican nominee Donald Trump’s 38 percent in the presidential race in the Keystone State, the Franklin & Marshall College Poll found.

Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson nets 4 percent, followed by Green Party nominee Jill Stein’s 2 percent.

Clinton led last month’s edition of the same poll by 9 points.

McGinty leads Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) by 12 points — 47 percent to 35 percent, the poll found.

Franklin & Marshall College conducted its survey of 652 likely voters in Pennsylvania via online and telephone interviews from Oct. 26 to 30. It has a margin of error of 5.1 points.

Other polls have shown closer races in Pennsylvania. Clinton leads Trump in the state by 6 points, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average, while McGinty leads Toomey by 4 points.
