DNC chair on media reaction to FBI letter: ‘Good grief’
Interim Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile appeared annoyed on Friday over the media’s reaction to the FBI’s renewed interest in Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
{mosads}“Good grief,” Brazile said on Twitter after a series of retweets of journalists clarifying the new development.
Good grief.

FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to Congress Friday saying that new emails have been found that may be pertinent to the investigation that the agency had conducted into Clinton’s server.
The New York Times reported that relevant emails were found on devices seized by the FBI as part of its investigation into Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal.
Some media outlets initially mischaracterized the new development as the FBI “reopening” the investigation, though the probe was never officially closed due to procedural technicalities.
Many Republicans pounced on reports of the FBI “reopening” its probe, applauding them for apparently revisiting their decision not to recommend charges against Clinton.
An exasperated Brazile said that Republicans are “ready to pounce on anything” in regards to the Clinton investigation.
#GOP ready to pounce on anything. https://t.co/h67BjOmWwU
