First lady Michelle Obama will make her first appearance with Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail on Thursday afternoon, in North Carolina.
{mosads}Obama has become one of the Democratic presidential nominee’s most powerful surrogates.
The pair will urge supporters in Winston-Salem, N.C., to vote early in the battleground state.
The latest New York Times Upshot/Siena College poll has Clinton leading GOP nominee Donald Trump by 7 points in the state, and the RealClearPolitics average shows her up by more than 2 points.
The campaign event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
