Clinton to spend election night in Manhattan
Hillary Clinton will spend election night in Manhattan, according to an email her campaign sent to offices on Capitol Hill Wednesday.
The Democratic presidential nominee’s election night event will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Center on the city’s West Side — a venue, notably, with a glass ceiling.

{mosads}Clinton has remarked that becoming the U.S.’s first female president would shatter the “highest and hardest glass ceiling.”
The center is also just 2 miles from Trump Tower, the headquarters for Clinton’s GOP rival, Donald Trump.
Trump hasn’t said where he will spend Election Day, though candidates traditionally end up in their hometowns.
President Obama spent election night in 2008 and 2012 in Chicago.
