Nevada poll: Clinton up 4 points over Trump

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton holds a 4-point edge over GOP opponent Donald Trump in the battleground state of Nevada, a poll released Monday finds.

{mosads}The poll from KTNV and right-leaning Rasmussen found that Clinton leads Trump, 46 to 42 percent. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson takes 5 percent, with 6 percent undecided or backing another candidate.

The survey was conducted after the third and final presidential debate in Las Vegas and mostly completed before early voting kicked off on Saturday.

Clinton leads among female, minority and college graduate voters. Trump leads among men, those who are married, and high school graduates. The former secretary of State nearly doubles Trump among Hispanic voters, 61 to 32 percent.

Of the four KTNV/Rasmussen polls conducted since July, Monday’s survey shows the largest lead for Clinton. A poll in late July had her leading by 1 point and the mid-September poll found Trump ahead by 3 points, 42 to 39 percent.

Clinton’s lead has been growing in the Silver State and a Monmouth University poll released last week found her up 7 points in the state.

The poll was conducted from Oct. 20 to 22, and surveyed 826 likely voters. The margin of error was 3.5 percentage points.
