Poll: Clinton, Trump tied nationally

Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump are in a dead heat just two weeks before the presidential election, a poll released Monday shows.

In a two-way race with no third-party candidates included, Trump and Clinton have 42 percent support each.

The poll of 815 likely voters has a margin of error of 3.6 percentage points. It was conducted between Oct. 18 and 23.

In a RealClearPolitics national polling average, Clinton has a 6-point lead over Trump, 48 to 42 percent.
