Trump raises $9M from Facebook Live videos
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump raised $9 million from two Facebook Live video events on Wednesday, according to a report by Politico.
{mosads}The online videos asked the viewers to donate $10 or more to the Trump campaign ahead of the Federal Election Commission’s midnight deadline.
According to the report, nearly 150,000 people donated to the campaign during the two live-streams that took place before and after the debate.
Both events received almost 9 million views and drew in approximately 24 million people.
The videos featured some of Trump’s most prominent supporters, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and others, discussing the debate in a news broadcast set-up.
