Trump cuts interview short after he’s asked about being called ‘racist’

Donald Trump walked away from an interview with a local NBC reporter in Ohio on Thursday when she asked him about being called a “racist” and “sexist.”

Several minutes into the interview on Thursday, NBC4 co-anchor Colleen Marshall asked the GOP presidential nominee about some of the criticisms he’s received for his rhetoric.

Trump cut off Marshall and started to walk away, according to video of the interview posted by NBC4.

“Thank you very much,” Trump said quietly as he walked off.

“How do you respond to that?” Marshall pressed.

Trump turned back for a quick response.

“I am the least racist person you’ve ever met,” he said.

Trump often fields questions about his controversial rhetoric from reporters and typically defends his comments or fires back at critics.

Another video surfaced of Trump walking away from a second interview on Thursday. 

Trump was doing an interview with a reporter from WBNS in Ohio when the reporter asked about the most recent allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

“I know the woman came out today about the U.S. Open who says you groped her, today, can you answer allegations about that?” reporter Kevin Landers asked. 

As Landers asks the question, someone off-camera seems to try to end the interview by saying they’ve run out of time. Trump begins to walk away. 

“I know nothing about that,” Trump said. 

“About the U.S. Open, allegations…” 

“No.”
