Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is brushing off comments made during the final presidential debate by Donald Trump, who described her as a “nasty woman.”
{mosads}“I just didn’t pay any attention to that,” Clinton said, according to CNN.
During Wednesday night’s debate in Las Vegas, the GOP nominee cut in when Clinton was speaking and described her as a “nasty woman.”
The exchange occurred when Clinton was talking about her plans to “raise taxes on the wealthy.” During her answer, she took a shot at Trump over his attempts to avoid paying taxes.
“My Social Security payroll contribution will go up,” Clinton said, “as will Donald’s, assuming he can’t figure out how he can get out of it.”
“Such a nasty woman,” Trump said in response, shaking his head and holding up his finger at Clinton.
Trump often attacks the Democratic nominee and normally refers to Clinton as “Crooked Hillary.”
