Poll: Clinton leads by 15 points in NH
Hillary Clinton has a commanding lead over Donald Trump in the battleground state of New Hampshire, according to a new poll.
Clinton (D) leads Trump (R) by 15 points, 48 percent to 33 percent, in the WMUR Granite State Poll released Wednesday. Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson has 7 percent support, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein has 2 percent.
{mosads}Clinton maintains a large lead over Trump among women, 57 percent to 30 percent, and she holds a slim lead over Trump among men, 40 percent to 38 percent.
The poll shows Clinton with a wider lead than other recent surveys in the state have. She leads Trump by 5 points, 44 percent to 39 percent, in the RealClearPolitics polling index in New Hampshire.
Overall, both candidates remain unpopular among New Hampshire residents in the WMUR poll. Fifty-three percent have an unfavorable opinion of Clinton while 43 percent have a favorable one.
Trump is even less popular among Granite State voters, with 69 percent viewing him unfavorably compared with 26 percent viewing him favorably.
The poll of 907 New Hampshire adults was conducted Oct. 11–17 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.
