People magazine produces witnesses to back up writer’s Trump accusations

People magazine has six witnesses it says can corroborate a former writer’s story of Donald Trump’s alleged sexual misconduct. 

{mosads}Six colleagues and friends of Natasha Stoynoff have come forward to help try to prove the allegations she made against the GOP presidential nominee that Trump and his campaign have denied.

Stoynoff earlier this month published a story in People magazine accusing Trump of forcibly kissing her, joining several other women who have made similar claims about the candidate.

Stoynoff said she toured the Mar-a-Lago estate in 2005 with Trump and his wife, Melania, as part of a story on the couple’s first anniversary.

“We walked into that room alone, and Trump shut the door behind us. I turned around, and within seconds he was pushing me against the wall and forcing his tongue down my throat,” she wrote.

But a friend of Stoynoff’s told People the two were together when Stoynoff ran into Melania Trump.

“They chatted in a friendly way,” Liza Herz, who met Stoynoff in college, told People. “And what struck me most was that Melania was carrying a child and wearing heels.”

Marina Grasic, a friend who has known Stoynoff for 25 years, also came forward to describe the call she got after the alleged attack, in which Stoynoff described what had happened.

“Beyond just the attack, she was horrified by the vulgar circumstances under which she was attacked and propositioned to have an affair. She was there in a professional capacity, writing an article about their happy marriage, and after the incident, Trump acted like nothing happened,” Grasic said.

Other witnesses include Paul McLaughlin, Stoynoff’s former journalism professor; Liz McNeil, the People East Coast editor; Mary Green, deputy East Coast news editor for the magazine; and Liza Hamm, another friend of Stoynoff’s. All say the writer confided in them about the incident. 

Trump and his campaign have strongly and repeatedly denied the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct made against the GOP nominee.

Trump in recent days has ramped up his claims that the election is being rigged against him and has slammed the media for publishing what he says are false stories about his accusers.

Stoynoff told People magazine she is doing OK since coming out with her story.

“Women are talking about this, and they need to,” Stoynoff said. “We cannot be silent anymore. I didn’t tell my story for politics; I told it for women.” 

“I was obviously good-looking enough for him at the time to force-kiss me and insist that we were going to have an affair,” Stoynoff told People.
