Poll: Trump, Clinton in close race in Pennsylvania, Colorado
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump are in close races in two key battleground states, according to new CNN/ORC polls.
{mosads}In Pennsylvania, Clinton is favored by 45 percent of likely voters while Trump is backed by 44 percent, according to the poll.
Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has 6 percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is backed by 3 percent.
Clinton has an 11-point advantage in Pennsylvania among white college graduates, pollsters found, and Trump leads by 19 points among white voters who do not have a four-year degree.
In a head-to-head matchup in Pennsylvania, Clinton leads Trump by 3 points among likely voters, 50 to 47 percent.
Clinton has a 5.2-point lead over her Republican rival according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
In Colorado, Trump is favored by 42 percent of likely voters in the new poll and Clinton is backed by 41 percent. Johnson has the support of 13 percent of likely voters and Stein is backed by 3 percent.
In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton has a 2-point lead over Trump in Colorado, 49 to 47 percent.
Clinton has a 0.4-point lead over her Republican rival, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
The CNN/ORC polls were conducted from Sept. 20 to 25 among 1,010 residents in Colorado, including 784 who are likely to vote, and among 1,032 residents in Pennsylvania, including 771 who are likely to vote. The margin of error for both states is 3.5 percent.
