‘Hamilton’ star sings Trump’s tweets

The creator and star of “Hamilton” released a “musical” on Tuesday composed of Donald Trump’s tweets.

“Hi, I’m stage and screen’s Lin-Manuel Miranda,” the Broadway performer said in the video for GQ Magazine.

{mosads}“I’m going to be singing you some Trump tweets today. I have not changed a word of these, only added melody.”

The clip shows Miranda riding atop a tour bus while belting out Trump’s social media posts.

Miranda targets Trump’s “backhanded” and “racially questionable holiday greetings” in the spot.

“Happy Thanksgiving to all – even the haters and losers,” he croons in one segment, stretching out the vowels in the last word.

“Happy Cinco de Mayo,” Miranda roars in another. “The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill.

“I love Hispanics,” continues Miranda, who is Puerto Rican, while beaming at the camera.

“I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date – September 11,” he concludes, mentioning the date of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in a deadpan.

Miranda finishes his performance by striking a pose and then urging viewers to “vote” in November.

The Hill has learned the National Archives Foundation will honor Miranda and several of his “Hamilton” cast mates this Saturday, at its Records of Achievement Awards gala in Washington, D.C.

Miranda left “Hamilton” in early July after the musical about Founding Father Alexander Hamilton became a smash hit.

The actor vowed before his departure he would help boost Latino voter turnout after leaving the production.

“I think it’s very clear that Latinos living in the United States – their interests are bound up in voting this year, and I’ll leave it at that, but making sure people turn out is going to be a priority to me, as it was in 2012,” he said on June 16.

“Our issues are on the table, from Puerto Rico to a wall to keep half of us out being a party platform. It’s important we get out and vote.”

Miranda, who supports Hillary Clinton’s campaign, lent the Democratic presidential nominee his star power for a July fundraiser.

Trump, the GOP’s presidential nominee, has frequently used Twitter for rapidly attacking critics and reaching voters.
