Emails: Powell talked Clinton health concerns with Dem mega-donor

Newly leaked emails show that a Democratic senator told a Democratic mega-donor that Hillary Clinton had trouble walking up podium steps at a campaign event, Mediaite reported.

{mosads}The emails come from the hack of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, and one chain shows him discussing the Democratic presidential nominee’s health with donor Jeffrey Leeds.

“I think there is something to it. On HD tv she doesn’t look good. She is working herself to death,” Powell wrote to Leeds on March 14, 2015.

Leeds responded later that morning that Rhode Island Democratic Sen. “Sheldon Whitehouse, who is a huge Clinton supporter, said they were both giving speeches at the same event a few months back and she could barely climb the podium steps.”

Powell’s email leak on Wednesday also revealed his disdain for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Clinton abruptly left a Sept. 11 memorial ceremony on Sunday and was later seen stumbling as she tried to get into her van. Her campaign later said she had been diagnosed with pneumonia days before. She and Trump have been under increased pressure to release more medical details in the days since.
