Television personality Mehmet Oz says he won’t ask Donald Trump questions the Republican presidential nominee doesn’t want to answer when he appears on “The Dr. Oz Show.”

“It’s his personal records. I want to ask him pointed questions about his health,” Oz said Tuesday during an interview on Fox News Radio’s “Kilmeade & Friends.”

{mosads}“The metaphor for me is this is the doctor’s office, the studio,” Oz said. “So I’m not going to ask him questions he doesn’t want to have answered, and I also don’t want to talk about anybody else. We’re not going to be talking about Secretary [Hillary] Clinton, for sure. And I don’t want to talk about things that are outside the health purview.”

“If he puts limitations, I’ll acknowledge them,” Oz added. He also said Trump’s campaign has given him leeway to ask any questions he wants.

Trump is scheduled to tape his appearance Wednesday, set to air on Thursday. Oz won’t be conducting a medical exam but will be reviewing the results of a physical with Trump, he said.

“It will be a surprise to Donald Trump what Dr. Oz is going to say,” Kilmeade remarked earlier on “Fox and Friends,” adding that Trump may see the document beforehand.

Ivanka Trump will also join her father on the program, Oz told Kilmeade.

Trump announced Monday that he would release the results of his physical after Clinton, his Democratic opponent, stumbled while leaving a 9/11 memorial ceremony on Sunday following a pneumonia diagnosis.

Oz said Tuesday pneumonia could have caused the cough Clinton has battled on the campaign trail recently.
