A Hillary Clinton campaign aide appeared to confirm on Tuesday that the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee plans to announce her running mate on Friday.

{mosads}During an interview with CNN, Karen Finney was asked whether the announcement would occur Friday.

“I expect that’s about right,” she said, refusing to give any hints about who the choice might be.

Finney later tweeted that no announcement is set, however.

Clinton is scheduled to be campaigning in Florida on Friday and Saturday.

For her running mate, the list Clinton is expected to choose from includes Housing Secretary Julian Castro, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Labor Secretary Tom Perez and retired Navy Adm. James Stavridis.

The campaign has been tightlipped about who on the list Clinton is leaning toward, though many of those close to the former secretary of State expect that she will go with Kaine, widely considered the safe choice.

On Monday, a new report said that Castro violated a law prohibiting federal employees from making personal political statements while appearing in an official capacity.

in an interview aired on Tuesday with Charlie Rose, Clinton said of Kaine, “he’s never lost an election, he was a world class mayor, governor and senator.” She called Warren “amazing” for “raising the hard issues that we’re going to have to address.”

She told Rose she was “looking for someone who can be a world class president of the United States and who can help me govern.”
