Roger Stone calls Fiorina ‘racist’ over Mike Tyson comments
Avowed Donald Trump supporter Roger Stone says Carly Fiorina’s attacks on Mike Tyson show that she’s racist.
“I knew @CarlyFiorina was an incompetent. I didn’t know she was a racist,” Stone tweeted Friday, with a link to Fiorina’s comments.
{mosads}Fiorina, Ted Cruz’s running mate, on Friday slammed Trump for touting Tyson’s endorsement.
Trump had bragged earlier this week about the legendary boxer’s support, saying at a rally that “all the tough guys endorse me. I like that.”
“Sorry, I don’t consider a convicted rapist a tough guy,” Fiorina responded. “And I think it says a lot about Donald Trump’s campaign and his character that he is standing up and cheering for an endorsement by Mike Tyson.”
Tyson spent three years in prison after being convicted of raping Desiree Washington in 1992.
Tyson endorsed Trump in October.
