The anti-abortion activist behind the controversial Planned Parenthood videos is accusing authorities of raiding his home.
David Daleiden said in a statement late Tuesday that members of the California Department of Justice had “seized all video footage” as well as personal information.

{mosads}Daleiden told The Washington Post investigators took a laptop and multiple hard drives from his apartment, as well as “some very damning footage that has yet to be released.”

The founder behind the group the Center for Medical Progress released a series of videos last year that sparked uproar among conservatives and led to calls for Planned Parenthood to be defunded.

Planned Parenthood has denied allegations surrounding the videos, which showed officials on tape talking about certain medical procedures. Daleiden’s group alleged the healthcare provider was illegally selling fetal tissue for profit.

Daleiden is one of two anti-abortion activists indicted by a grand jury in Texas on charges of allegedly tampering with government records and attempting to purchase human organs.

A spokesman for California Attorney General Kamala Harris (D) declined to comment for reports on the raid, saying she couldn’t speak about any ongoing investigation.

Daleiden accused Harris, a Senate candidate, of having a political motivation after having accepted campaign donations from Planned Parenthood.

“We will pursue all remedies to vindicate our First Amendment rights,” he said.
