Sunday shows preview: Dealing with fallout from Nevada, SC

Politicians and pundits will share their instant reactions the day after the GOP South Carolina primary and Democratic Nevada caucuses on this week’s Sunday shows.

Hillary Clinton headlines the morning to discuss her campaign strategy ahead the Feb. 27 South Carolina primary, where polls have her leading rival Bernie Sanders by double digits.

{mosads}John Kasich, who has tried to position himself as the experienced alternative to rival Donald Trump, will also make a pair of appearances on the day.

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus will share his thoughts on the South Carolina primary and look ahead to the Feb. 23 GOP Nevada caucuses.

And Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), who has been floated as a potential nominee to replace the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, will also be on to discuss his interest in the position.

Here are the rest of Sunday’s expected guests:

ABC’s “This Week”: Priebus headlines the program to discuss the state of the Republican presidential race.

CBS’ “Face the Nation”: Kasich will discuss his campaign strategy heading into the Nevada caucuses. Booker will shed light on rumors surrounding his Supreme Court expectations.

CNN’s “State of the Union”: Clinton leads off the program to look ahead to South Carolina, where polls show her way ahead thanks in part to support from the black community.

“Fox News Sunday”: A panel consisting of GOP strategist Karl Rove, conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, progressive activist Neera Tanden and Associated Press reporter Julie Pace will weigh in on the results from Saturday’s contests.

Kasich will also make an appearance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

NBC’s “Meet the Press”: Conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt, Nevada pundit Jon Ralston, political analyst Amy Walter and MSNBC correspondent Joy-Ann Reid will discuss the presidential races on the show’s roundtable.
