Trump says he’s the Hemingway of Twitter
Donald Trump says the world has yet to see a social media genius of his caliber, comparing his 140-character missives on Twitter to the prose of Ernest Hemingway.
{mosads}“Somebody said I’m the Ernest Hemingway of 140 characters,” the businessman said at a rally in South Carolina on Friday.
Trump said he exhibits tremendous grace under pressure when lambasting his political rivals on the social media network.
Imitating the sound of a typewriter, he noted that whenever someone says something bad about him, “bing bing bing — I say something really bad about them.”
The GOP primary front-runner added that he understands social media “maybe better than anybody, ever.”
Trump reeled off a 12-tweet attack on fellow Republican primary candidate John Kasich on Thursday night, after the Ohio governor said he would devote $2.5 million to attacking Trump.
He said the bell tolls for the governor’s presidential campaign, calling him a “total dud.”
