Senate Dems top GOP in Feb. fundraising

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee raised $4.3 million in February, the organization tells The Hill, topping the $3.8 million the National Republican Senatorial Committee raised in the same period.

{mosads}The DSCC’s haul is the largest in a nonelection year February in their history. The sizable campaign fund will boost the group’s efforts as it seeks to win the five Senate seats needed to retake control of the upper chamber.

The DSCC brings its cash on hand to $5.5 million, with $15 million in operational debt, along with a $5 million mortgage to buy its office building.

The NRSC has $4.3 million cash on hand and $8 million in debt.
