Former Nevada lawmaker won’t seek comeback
Former Rep. Steven Horsford (D-Nev.) won’t seek a comeback after being upset last fall, according to Ralston Reports.
{mosads}Horsford had been weighing a comeback bid after his surprise loss to freshman Rep. Crescent Hardy (R-Nev.) in a Democratic-leaning suburban Las Vegas district in November. He was viewed as a rising Democratic star before the upset.
Hardy is a top 2016 Democratic target, and Horsford’s decision not to run leaves Democrats without an obvious candidate, making recruitment a top priority in the district.
