House Republicans name senior campaign staff
The National Republican Congressional Committee has named its senior staffers for 2016, promoting a number of staffers that helped the committee win its largest majority since World War II.
{mosads}The NRCC has promoted 2014 political director Rob Simms to be executive director this cycle. John Rodgers is now the political director, a step up from deputy political director. Katie Prill moves up to be communications director. Megan Cummings is now finance director, moving up from deputy finance director.
“This exceptional team is already working to gain and maintain our majority in the 2016 cycle,” said Simms. “We are very fortunate that many members of the team who built the historic majority in 2014 are moving into senior positions to continue helping successful Republican campaigns. Our all-star team will use their experience to engineer an even stronger committee and maintain our historic House majority.”
The committee has added a few new faces as well. Tom Newhouse will be its digital director and Jordan Davis will be its policy director.
Jessica Furst Johnson stays on as deputy executive director and general counsel, while Todd Johnson stays on as research director.
