LePage gets second term in Maine
Maine Gov. Paul LePage (R) edged out a pair of challengers on Tuesday, giving the often confrontational incumbent a second term in a state twice won by President Obama.
{mosads}ABC News called the race for LePage with 48 percent of the vote, likely giving the governor a second straight win with less than 50 percent. Rep. Mike Michaud (D) had 44 percent of the vote, while independent Eliot Cutler, who worked in Jimmy Carter’s administration, pulled in less than 10 percent.
Michaud also has conceded the race to LePage, the Portland Press-Herald reported.

Cutler is presumed to have pulled more votes from Michaud.
Michaud, first elected to the House in 2002, didn’t make his sexual orientation a central part of his campaign, even as same-sex marriage has become legal in more states this year.
LePage’s most recent fight was with Kaci Hickox, a nurse who treated Ebola patients in West Africa, who the governor tried to force into a three-week quarantine.
