Missouri senator to governor: ‘F— you’

Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal dropped the F-bomb on Gov. Jay Nixon, as protests in Ferguson, Mo., intensified after the police shooting of an unarmed African-American teenager Saturday.

F— you, Governor,” the Democratic lawmaker tweeted Thursday to Nixon, a fellow Democrat. “I’m calling your bulls—-!”

The state senator representing the Ferguson area was seemingly bothered by Nixon’s absence from protests as rioting sparked by 18-year-old Michael Brown’s killing entered its fourth day.

“I never expected to represent a war zone,” tweeted Chappelle-Nadal, who was tear-gassed while peacefully protesting. “Get on your knees, Governor. Get ready.”

Nixon promised “a different tone” in Ferguson on Thursday, announcing that the Missouri State Highway Patrol will take over supervising security in the predominantly black suburb amid criticism of the local police’s forceful tactics.

He stressed that Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson, an African-American who grew up in Ferguson, would now command law enforcement efforts.
