Bush 41 to parachute jump for birthday
Former President George H.W. Bush announced Thursday he would sky dive to celebrate his 90th birthday near his home in Kennebunkport, Maine.

After completing a similar jump for his 85th birthday, he announced he would make another jump five years later. He intends to following through Thursday morning. He has made the tandem jump for his 75th and 80th birthdays as well.
Thought he is confined to a wheelchair, Bush continues to have a passion for life, his spokesman told The Associated Press.
“It’s vintage George Bush,” spokesman Jim McGrath said. “It’s that passion for life. It’s wanting to set a goal, wanting to achieve it. I’m sure part of it is sending a message to others that even in your retirement years you can still find challenges.”
According to the newswire, he will jump from a helicopter with the help of a retired members of the Army’s parachute team, the Golden Knights.
