Bush 41, Bloomberg among Harvard’s honorary degree recipients
Former President George H.W. Bush received an honorary degree from Harvard University on Thursday along with Mike Bloomberg and Aretha Franklin, among others.
Bush’s spokesman posted a photo of the degree recipients at the commencement ceremony on Twitter.

Bush, 89, received an honorary doctor of laws degree.
The other recipients include author Isabel Allende, media ethics and family law expert Patricia King, botanist Peter Raven, art historian Seymour Slive, and economist Joseph Stiglitz.
Bloomberg, who was mayor of New York from 2002 until last December, delivered the commencement address.
