Super Bowl trash talk heating up on Twitter
Lawmakers from Colorado and Washington state are already taking to Twitter in anticipation of the Super Bowl, still more than a week away.
Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) tweeted at her colleague from Colorado, Sen. Michael Bennet (D), on Wednesday, saying she looked forward to some trash talk next week.
While it might not reach @RSherman_25 levels, looking fwd to some friendly trash talk w/ @SenBennetCO over the next week. -PM #SB48 #12thMAN

Murray’s Seattle Seahawks and Bennet’s Denver Broncos play each other at this year’s Super Bowl on Feb. 2.
She also made a reference to Richard Sherman, the Seattle cornerback whose televised rant about one of San Francisco’s wide receivers last weekend has made the rounds on the Internet. Sherman later apologized for the comments.
Bennet shot back, and told Murray the Broncos have no “sorry receivers.”
.@PattyMurray Unfortunately for RSherman_25, there are no 'sorry receivers' on the @Broncos. #sb48 #sorrynotsorry
