Poll: Support for healthcare law dropping

{mosads}In the latest CNN survey, 57 percent said they oppose most or all of the healthcare law.

Support for the law fell among two key groups for the Obama administration, CNN said: women and people who make less than $50,000 per year.

Both groups could see benefits from the law: Low-income households that cannot purchase affordable insurance through an employer will get tax subsidies to help buy coverage on their own, and the law prohibits insurers from charging women a higher premium than men.

“Change is often scary – even change that promises to bring long-term benefits – and it may not be surprising that Americans are getting a case of cold feet as these new policies start to kick in,” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland told the cable channel.
