GOP wins back nearly half of defecting Republicans in CR vote

Reps. Lou Barletta (Pa.), Larry Bucshon (Ind.), Michael Burgess (Texas), Dan Burton (Ind.), John Campbell (Calif.), Francisco “Quico” Canseco (Texas), Jason Chaffetz (Utah), John Duncan Jr. (Tenn.), Stephen Fincher (Tenn.), John Fleming (La.), Trey Gowdy (S.C.), Timothy Johnson (Ill.), Doug Lamborn (Colo.), Jeff Landry (La.), Kenny Marchant (Texas), Jeff Miller (Fla.), Randy Neugebauer (Texas), Bill Posey (Fla.), Dana Rohrabacher (Calif.), Dennis Ross (Fla.), Ed Royce (Calif.), Michael Turner (Ohio) and Tim Walberg (Mich.).

Another Republican who opposed it Wednesday, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), did not vote on the final resolution. The rest of the 24 Republican House lawmakers who opposed it Wednesday also opposed it early Friday:

Justin Amash (Mich.), Steve Austria (Ohio), Paul Broun (Ga.), Scott DesJarlais (Tenn.), Jeff Duncan (S.C.), Jeff Flake (Ariz.), Trent Franks (Ariz.), Phil Gingrey (Ga.), Tom Graves (Ga.), Tim Huelskamp (Kan.), Bill Huizenga (Mich.), Randy Hultgren (Ill.), Jim Jordan (Ohio), Steve King (Iowa), Cynthia Lummis (Wyo.), Connie Mack (Fla.), Tom McClintock (Calif.), Mick Mulvaney (S.C.), Steve Pearce (N.M.), Ted Poe (Texas), David Schweikert (Ariz.), Joe Walsh (Ill.), Lynn Westmoreland (Ga.) and Joe Wilson (S.C.).

The same six Democrats who favored the bill on Wednesday also supported it early Friday morning: Reps. Jason Altmire (Pa.), Tim Holden (Pa.), Larry Kissell (N.C.), Carolyn McCarthy (N.Y.), Michael Michaud (Maine) and Peter Welch (Vt.).
