Panetta re-joins Fleishman-Hillard board
He left the Obama administration earlier this year to retire to his walnut farm in Monterey, Calif.
{mosads}Panetta was also director of the Office of Management and
Budget and chief of staff in the Clinton administration.
Panetta joins a board at Fleishman that includes former chief
of staff to President George W. Bush Andy Card, former Chief of Naval
Operations Adm. Vernon Clark and former New York Times Company CEO Janet
Robinson.
Fleishman isn’t the only board that has brought Panetta back
after he left the administration. The former secretary this week also re-joined the board
of directors of Corinthian Colleges, a network of for-profit colleges.
