Ann Romney: ‘Mitt’s prepared’ for second debate

{mosads}Although both campaigns rushed to lower expectations for their candidate’s debate performance ahead of the first presidential debate Oct. 3, Obama’s campaign ultimately acknowledged that Romney won the night.

For Tuesday’s second debate, both sides seem to agree they expect Obama to have a better performance than last time, potentially giving Romney more of a challenge.

Ann Romney struggled to remember where her sons were campaigning on Monday, joking that she can’t keep track of them but knew for sure where they would be Tuesday night: In New York with her. Tuesday night’s town hall-style debate is hosted by Hofstra University on Long Island.

“All five will be with me,” she said, and urged the crowd of supporters to “look for us.” She noted that although all five sons will be present, there isn’t room for all of them on stage.

“It’s going to be fun to watch. Maybe more fun for you than for me,” she joked. Both Ann Romney and first lady Michelle Obama have spoken previously about how nervous they get watching their husbands debate on stage.
