Sierra Club wants to share a pizza with Herman Cain
“We can be friends Herman. Lets talk it out over pizza & a movie,” tweeted Trey Pollard, national deputy press secretary, along with a link to a video of one of Cain’s fumbles during the presidential campaign.

Press secretary Maggie Kao, meanwhile, had some particular requests.
Y’all got vegan, gluten free pizza? @TreyPollard_SC @THEHermanCain @Sierra_Club @bruneski TRUE Heart of Darkness
— Maggie Kao (@Magsalott) May 30, 2012
Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune, also responding to Cain, simply tweeted: “Really?”
It is unclear whether Cain considers lobbying, the group or the particular cause to be the “heart of darkness,” but either way, Joseph Conrad, who popularized the phrase with his 1902 book, likely won’t be a point of discussion between the Sierra Club and Cain any time soon.
Cain, who recently tweeted that he has “rediscovered” Twitter and has become more prolific in the last week, did not respond to the Sierra Club tweets.
