Second poll shows Fischer in lead in Nebraska’s GOP Senate primary
The survey by Democratic firm Public Policy Polling is the second poll in a week to show Fischer edging out the race’s longstanding front-runner, State Attorney General Jon Bruning (R).
Fischer takes 37 percent to Bruning’s 33 percent — within the poll’s margin of error. State Treasurer Don Stenberg (R) takes third place with 17 percent.
{mosads}The poll of 272 likely GOP primary voters was conducted May 14 using automated telephone interviews, and had a margin of error of plus or minus 5.9 percentage points.
