Dem touts sexual harassment resolution
Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) previews a resolution she plans to bring to the floor that would require House lawmakers and their staff to take sexual harassment training.
{mosads}The proposal came after a video of Rep. Vance McAllister (R-La.) kissing a staffer went viral.
“This is the House of Representatives not a frat house. Regrettably, another of my colleagues, Congressman Vance McAllister, was revealed to have engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a member of his staff,” Speier said in a statement Tuesday.
