Facebook rolls out feature to combat fake news
Facebook is beginning to introduce a new feature to combat fake news, as first noted by a Gizmodo reporter on Twitter.

According to Mashable, Facebook began testing similar features in December. Facebook users can now mark a story in their newsfeed as fake.
{mosads}Stories marked as disputed may be subject to fact-checking by organizations such as Politifact or Snopes.
The effort comes amid a contentious relationship between President Trump and the press corps. Trump has repeatedly invoked the phrase “fake news” when describing reports he disagrees with and has dubbed the media the “opposition party.”
