Mueller’s attorneys want to question former Roger Stone employee known as ‘Manhattan Madam’

Attorneys for Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation want to interview Kristin Davis, the former prostitution mogul who went to prison after being tied to former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D).

TMZ first reported that Davis, a former employee of Roger Stone, is of interest to Mueller’s team.

Davis served two years in prison for her role in running a high-profile Manhattan prostitution ring that counted Spitzer and others as clients. It is unclear what Mueller’s interest is in Davis, though it likely ties to her work for Stone, who has become a recent focus in the probe.

“If the special counsel subpoenas her I will be representing her,” Daniel Hochheiser, an attorney for Davis, told CNN.

A source close to the situation added to CNN that Davis has not yet gotten a subpoena, but that Mueller’s representatives have reached out and expressed interest in an interview.

Stone was not mentioned by name but told CNN this week that he was “likely” the Trump campaign adviser mentioned in an indictment from Mueller’s team as in contact with Russian operatives posing as the hacker persona “Guccifer 2.0.”

Davis worked for Stone for a decade, TMZ reports, and hired another Stone colleague, Andrew Miller, to run her novelty campaign for governor of New York in 2010.

Miller became the third ex-Stone associate to be ensnared in the investigation when he was subpoenaed last month.

Stone acknowledged to Hill.TV’s “Rising” last month that it’s a “possibility” he will be indicted in Mueller’s ongoing investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Mueller’s investigation has so far indicted or obtained guilty pleas from four former Trump associates and filed charges against more than 20 Russian nationals.
